You’re all set, you have your mobile phone number ready to port to Google Voice. You fill out all of the forms, pay all of the necessary fees and you’re ready to go.

Now you wait, and wait, make a few test calls, wait some more. After a while you start to wonder, “have I just made a huge mistake?” “WHERE IS MY PHONE NUMBER?!”
Well, I’m here to put your mind at ease. According to Google themselves, the porting process for your phone number can take anywhere from 48-96 hours to complete. If you are still within that window, please be patient and continue to make regular test calls to your phone number. Alternatively, you can check the Google Voice Porting Status page here
